When you draw, what do you listen to? TV, Music, podcasts?
For me, for years, it’s been music or TV. Usually something I’ve seen a bajillion times and don’t actually need to pay attention to.
Some of my TV go-tos are He-Man, G.I. Joe, and The Real Ghostbusters. For movies, it’s BASEketball, Jaws, Ghostbusters I or ||, Tremors, ’70’s Superman I or ||, or Step Brothers.
Music is just like my movies and TV, it’s all over the place. Sometimes it’s Olivia Rodrigo, and then the next song might be Papa Roach, followed by 2Pac, Blink-182, or Black Sabbath. I’ll even throw on Johnny Cash or Garth Brooks.
But my all time favorite for drawing, even when I was young adult, has always been Blink-182.
To this day, Blink is still my go-to when I’m creating content. There’s something about that bubbly, energetic sound that gets my brain moving in exactly the right direction every single time.
