Sometimes you have to understand that you just can’t draw something right. Today was that day.
I drew the same pose over and over and over, and finally, I called it. I’d had enough. Eventually, I realized that I was just torturing myself. If I wanted to, I could simply change the story a bit and save myself the headache.
That’s the bonus to being the creator, author, and everything else, I have almost final say, unless my editor hates it. Thankfully, that doesn’t happen too often.
The new layout and story elements make the strip actually flow even better. Sometimes when you think you have the best idea for a page, and then life hits you upside the head and lets you know there are better ideas out there.
In the end, I am extremely happy with how it turned out. So much so, that I went back and made changes to multiple pages in the remastered edition because it looked so much better.
