When I was in high school, I got into comics and read them pretty religiously. One of my favorites from back then was Spawn. I loved the artwork, and it had a great story to boot. Overall, I was a big fan. I even had issues #1-100.
Fast forward a little, and things changed. The spawn movie came out, and I hated it. After seeing it, I sold my entire run of Spawn and moved on from the series. To this day I’ve never read that series again.
I was just so disappointed in the movie. I had read and listened to Todd talk about how good the movie was. It kind of made me stop being a fan of the series.
