One of the hardest part of writing and lettering this comic is my dyslexia. Along with my AuDHD I don’t really stand a chance. I have to constantly double and triple check all my work for spelling errors. That’s why I have my friend editing my book. If I miss it, he usually finds the mistake. There are times we both miss it. One time I double typed the same word and it read right until it didn’t. It’s one of those little brain tricks that you don’t see, until you do.
The part that is maddening too is that I love lettering and writing, and with the type of dyslexia I have, I wouldn’t be able to even see the mistake until I published the page. It’s happened a couple of times, but I fix it as soon as someone says something. It’s not an excuse, more of an explanation.
