I admit, I’m new to the Warhammer 40k universe. My son introduced me to the series in its current form. Then he showed me something from the series that I just loved. It’s a series called SPACE KING. The first episode I watched had me in stitches. Of course, it’s not a serious offshoot of the main series, it’s a parody and 100% made for me. I LOVE it. It’s too funny.
I know the main series is pretty serious, but this is more up my alley.
I’ve always preferred the parody offshoots, like DRAGON BALL Z ABRIDGED. It’s deranged fun. In that case, I may not like it quite as much, but it some of the funniest stuff I’ve ever seen. The first time I watched it, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Pure comedy gold.
One of the funniest anime I’ve ever seen was in this vein too: GHOST STORIES DUB. It was just pushing the limits of what could be said, and more often than not, it nailed it. It went from a horror adventure anime into comedic gold, all because they didn’t have a translator.
