Coming to the end of book on for Salem Corners is anti-climatic. I thought I’d feel super excited. In a way, though, I feel sad. I have 15 or 16 pages left, with a couple of art pages thrown in, and I will officially have finished the first book in the series at 250 pages total. Not too bad.
They’re full color, written and drawn by me. I’m proud as can be, I really am, but there’s a feeling of sadness that hits me a little. I know I’m going to draw book two while I put out the remastered edition, but have finished book one isn’t what I expected it to feel like. I love how it’s turned out, no doubt, yet there’s still some feeling of “ugh” in there.
I hope you understand what I’m trying to say. I’m not sure I’m expressing it right.
