I don’t know if you follow gaming like I do, but what’s going on is a really big deal. The move from physical media to digital media is happening right before our eyes. To me, this is a bad move overall. The laws either need to change, or this change never should have happened. There is no way we should have to pay for the media and then lose it because they de-list it. It’s like they walked into your house and walked off with your property. It doesn’t make sense. If you’ve paid for it, you should own it. That’s just my two cents.
Congress needs to understand digital purchases should be no different from walking into a store and buying something. Just because it’s digital doesn’t mean we should treat it any differently than physically buying something. I give them my money, I own it, as long as I don’t use it in an illegal way.
