It’s funny how you start out thinking you’re prepared for what you’re about to do. Then, in the beginning, you’re in the deep end, just trying to stay afloat. Eventually, things start flowing, and finally, with only twenty-some pages left in Book One of Salem Corners, I’m finally hitting my stride. The pages are flying by now at a pace I never could have imagined in the beginning.
That’s what working on Salem Corners has been like for me. It’s surreal to be this close to the end of Book One.
When I’m finally not working my self to death every day, I don’t know what I’m going to do. I’ll still be working on Book Two, of course, but I’ll finally have time to breathe and have a little fun. I can’t wait!!!
