The use of digital drawing tools is a god send. After I was injured and before I got on my new medication I didn’t draw for 15 years. For an artist like myself it was a living HELL! Thankfully, with the new medication I am able to do what I love. If I bump my arm at all I am outta commission for up to a month or more. Drawing the comic is the only reliable way for me to work, and even then, it’s NOT pain free. The joy of drawing though is its own reward.
Back to the digital drawing tools. I use an XP-PEN drawing pad with Clip Studio Paint. The bonus to this is Clip Studio Paint’s ability to correct wobbles in my lines do to the severe nerve damage I suffered in my drawing arm. I will NEVER take it for granted, and will even go as far to scream it at the top of my lungs, I LOVE this program. I can’t recommend either highly enough.
