UGH! DAMN UNDO, with NO REDO! I had this great daily rambling all teed up, and I accidentally undid it all. Clip Studio Paint won’t undo the undo, and it’s sooo frustrating. But here goes nothing.
Today I drew sixty comic covers for the rack at the Twisted Tales Comic and Card shop. SIXTY different titles. It seemed daunting at first, but it ended up being pretty easy. My autistic superpower, the HYPERFOCUS, kicked in, and the ideas just started flowing like a raging river down the rapids. An hour later, I had all sixty named. Some are really good, some are good, and I don’t think there is a bad one amongst them.
My editor asked if I had to do all that work, to which I replied, “Of course I did. I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t think it was necessary.” But I think he’s right. Most people would’ve just left them colored. I felt it looked unfinished that way.
Just don’t tell him that.
