Hollywood’s current direction is baffling to me. Everything is either a reboot, a relaunch, or a sequel. We NEVER seem to get new stuff, and its arrival causes an explosion because society as a whole prefers new, fresh ideas. QUIT rebooting a franchise every couple of years; let some NEW BLOOD into the industry.
That’s the reason a lot of movies don’t succeed. Look at the live-action Disney slop if you don’t believe me. No one asked for it. There were a couple of diamonds in there,
but most were… meh.
